Hello Followers!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!! I hope you are all enjoying your summer days!!!  I know we are!!  We have finally got to see this bright ball of light in the sky, also know as the sun, we haven't seen it in Germany in a long time!!!  We have been at my mom's in NY since last Thursday and it's been great!!!  We had a BBQ on Sunday and I got to see some family that I haven't seen in YEARS!!!  It was a GREAT time and everyone had fun.  The kids all ran and played and the adults sat and visited, it was really nice!  Thursday morning we leave for Ohio to see my husband's family for a week.  It truly has been a great vacation so far!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

We Finally Made It!!!!

Ok loyal followers, guess what??!!!  After 7 days we finally made it back to the states.  We are in Bangor, Maine right now.  we drive out tomorrow morning to head to Dover, DE to pick up the rental car that we reserved when we thought that would be where we would land.  Then, from there, we will be driving to Upstate NY to spend time with my family and then over to Ohio to spend time with my in-laws. It has been a really rough trip so far and we are just looking forward to some nice relaxing time with our families!!! I hope you are all having fun with your crafting!!!!  I'm missing my crafting stuff sooo much right now!!!  Happy Crafting!!!!

Oh My Craziness!!!

This trip has been completely crazy!!!  We are still sitting in Germany waiting to get a flight out to the states.  We are heading into day 5 of waiting starting tomorrow morning!!  We are getting a lot closer to the top of the list though, so that's progress!!!  An extra bonus we were finally able to get a hotel room for the night!  We've been staying in the terminal or in our van at night, it has made for an even rougher trip.  But tonight we got to get a shower, sit and relax, watch some TV and sleep in a real bed.  We will be back up and at it tomorrow morning!!! Please keep your fingers crossed for us to get out of here tomorrow, I really want to see my Mom and the rest of the family!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

Yay!! Another Update!!

So I just wanted to update you all once again.  We are trying to fly out of Germany headed stateside tonight.  We are actually leaving our house in a couple hours to head to the airport.  We are flying what is called Space-A, for those of you who aren't military affiliated I'll explain it.  We will go to the airport and sign up, then once they know how many seats are available they will start calling people up and if you are called you get on the plane, if not you have to wait for the next plane.  I'm sure many of you may be thinking, Oh wow why would you want to do that???  Well once you are chosen for a flight you and your family fly for FREE!!!  I personally would rather wait for a flight then pay thousands of dollars for my family of 4 to fly stateside.  It's a little perk for the military.  So that's what we are headed out to try to do tonight.  Wish us luck and keep your fingers crossed for us please!!! So you will see probably very little or no posts from me

Tree-mendous Day!!

I made this card for my sister-in-law's birthday.  I hope I'm not jumping the gun by posting it, but I mailed it last week so she should have it by now. ALL paper is from The Paper Company's value packs unless otherwise stated. I started this card with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of light blue cardstock and folded it in half to form the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of orange cardstock at 5 1/4"x 4" and attached it to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I then cut a darker blue piece of cardstock at, I believe, 1" and a green piece of cardstock at 2 1/5".  I layered the darker blue over a little bit of the green and attached it using my ATG gun.  I took a piece of teal and white poke a dot ribbon and wrapped it around the two pieces of card stock and adhered it with Scotch tape on the back.  Then I used the "My Pink Stamper Cheater method" to add a little bow to the ribbon.  I attached the who

BFF Card

I made this card for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog's Challenge Me Monday #71 .  Wow, that's a mouth full, LOL.  This weeks challenge was to make a card for a friend.  Now, I have a friend in mind for this card, but if I say it on here it'll give it away before she can get it!! ALL cardstock is from The Paper Company's value packs. I started with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of blue cardstock and folded it in half for the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of light green card stock at 5 1/4"x 4".  I layered a piece of lavender colored cardstock that was cut at 5 1/4"x 2 1/2" on the top half of the green cardstock using my ATG gun.  I covered up the "seem" of where the papers meet with a piece of light pink grosgrain ribbon and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.  I attached the whole thing to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I used the "Create a Critter" cartridge wi
