Paper Cutz Challenge Blog: Challenge #118

I'm re-posting this for Challenge #118 on Paper Cutz Challenge's Blog.   The base of this card is a piece of green Papertrey Ink cardstock cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and folded in half.  I cut a piece of blue cardstock from The Paper Company's Value Pack at 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and ran it through my Sizzix with my Cuttlebug Snowflakes A2 embossing folder.  I then used my ATG gun to attach it to the top half of the base of the card.  I used a piece of DCWV paper from their 12 x 12 Glitter Stack paper pack, cut it to 2" x 5 1/4", used a Fiskars' Threading Water boarder punch on it and attached it to the bottom half of the base of the card using my ATG gun. I used my Cricut Expression with my "Winter Frolic" cartridge and The Paper Company Value Pack cardstock and cut the ornament at 3 1/2".  The hook and the star on it were cut with DCWV white glitter paper from their 12x12 Glitter Stack paper pack.  I attached the orname

Explosion Card Box!!

(Sorry for the blurry pictures, they were taken with my iPhone.) I had a lot of fun making this one.  I still haven't decided what I'm going to do with it though lol.  I used DCWV's Neutral 12x12 paper pack to make the bases and then decorated them with paper from DCWV's Nana's Kids matstack and their Animal Crackers matstack.  Click here for the link to the video with all the dimensions to make this project. I used my ATG gun to attach each "box" to the bigger one and also to attach the patterned paper.  On the lid I used my croc-a-dile to punch wholes in it and attached a piece of grosgrain ribbon with star shaped brads to simulate a handle. There are lots of YouTube videos on different ways to make these and decorate them.  The possibilities are endless!!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

Yappy Birthday!

I made this card for my nephew's birthday this year.  I figured this was a good fit for him since he loves his dog soooo much!!  His dog is a black lab, but I thought this dog was really cute. ALL paper with the exception of the polka dot paper is from The Paper Company's Value Packs.  The polka dot paper is from DCWV's Nana's Kids Matstack. For the base of my card I started with a piece of blue 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" cardstock and folded it in half.  I then cut the polka dotted paper at 4" x 5 1/4" and attached it to the base of the card using my ATG gun.  I then used a puppy paw print stamp from My Pink Stamper's "Even More Punny-licious" stamp set with a Stampin' Up! Classic Basic Black ink pad to add little puppy prints all over the page.  I also used the same stamp pad with another stamp from the same set for the sentiment on the card, "Yappy Birthday". I cut the puppy, the present and the party hat a

It's a BOY!!!

Well it is official, we found out yesterday that Baby Sharp #3 is another BOY!!!  I guess it's a good thing that blue is my favorite color since I will now have 3 boys!!!  And yes this is our absolute last one. So Joshua Donald Sharp is due to arrive on April 5th, 2012!!!! Lots of excitement in the Sharp house this week!! Happy Crafting!!!!

Monster Box!

I decided that I wanted to try to make a 3D cut from one of my cartridges, and since it was a little before Halloween that I decided this, I thought a monster box would be Great!! I used a 12x12 Die Cuts With a View (DCWV) purple paper from the Neutrals pack.  I used the fit to page key on my Cricut Expression so I could get the biggest box possible.  I used The Paper Company's Value packs for the layers on the box, the handles, eyes, mouth, stomach and the tip of the tail. I used a My Pink Stamper stamp from her "Spooky Puns"set, with a Stampin' Up! Classic, Basic Black, stamp pad to add a sentiment to the monster's stomach. Then I scored the box in the indicated areas, folded it up and "glued" it together using my ATG gun. I really liked how this turned out.  I haven't figured out exactly what to do with it yet but for now it sits on my desk and holds my Cricut spatula. This is definitely only the start of my 3D craf

Grimm Reaper!

I made this card to give to a couple of good friends for Halloween. ALL cardstock is from The Paper Company's value packs. I started with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of purple cardstock and folded it in half for the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of black cardstock at 5 1/4"x 4".  I cut a piece of orange cardstock at 5"x 3 3/4" and added a piece of purple polka dotted grosgrain ribbon and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.  Then I attached it to the black card stock using my ATG gun and then attached the whole thing to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I used the "Mini Monsters" cartridge with my Cricut Expression to cut the Grimm Reaper.  I cut him at 3 1/2" and added a shadow to him to add a little more to it and to make it stand out more.  I secured the ghost to my card using 3D-Dots to make it pop off of the page, making it the main focal point. Then to finish off my ca

Monkey Birthday!

I made this card for our friends' son's 1st birthday!!!  I know we all love firsts!!!  His party was jungle theme and they call him their little monkey so I though a monkey would be perfect for his card. ALL cardstock is from The Paper Company's value packs. I started with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of green cardstock and folded it in half for the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of blue cardstock at 5 1/4"x 4".  I layered a piece of yellow cardstock that was cut at 5 1/4"x 2" on the bottom half of the blue cardstock using my ATG gun.  I covered up the "seem" of where the papers meet with a piece of green ribbon with monkeys on it and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.  I attached the whole thing to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I used the "Create a Critter" cartridge with my Cricut Expression to cut the Monkey.  I cut him at 3 1/2".  I secured the mon

Pooh Birthday!

I made this card for my niece's birthday this year.  I used the Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge to make this card.  This card is actually the project that they tell you how to make in the booklet that comes with the cartridge, so I'm not going to go in to detail on how I made it.  I did cut everything 1" smaller then you are told to in the book. ALL paper is from The Paper Company's Value packs. For my sentiment I used a stamp from My Pink Stamper's Birthday Crazy set with a Stampin' Up! Classic Chocolate Chip stamp pad. Happy Crafting!!!!

LadyBug Birthday!

I made this card a while ago for my sister-in-law's birthday, I just never got a chance to post it, so I am now. ALL paper is from The Paper Company's Value Packs. I started out with a piece of 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" brown cardstock, and folded it in half for the base of my card.  For my first layer I used a piece of black cardstock cut at 5 1/4" x 4".  I then layered a piece of light blue cardstock cut at 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" on the top half of the black and a piece of green cardstock cut at 2" x 3 3/4" on the bottom half of the black, I attached them both using my ATG gun.  Then I wrapped a piece of brown grosgrain ribbon around the whole thing to cover the "seem" where the two pieces met and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.   Then I used my ATG gun to attach the whole thing to the base of the card. I cut my ladybug at 3 1/2" from the "Create a Critter" cartridge using my Cricut Expression.

Happy Boo-day!

Yay!!!  I'm finally back at it!!! I made this card for the Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge Me Monday #83 .  This challenge was to create a project with a ghost on it, and I thought a nice Halloween card would really hit the spot!! ALL cardstock is from The Paper Company's value packs. I started with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of orange cardstock and folded it in half for the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of black cardstock at 5 1/4"x 4".  I layered a piece of gray cardstock that was cut at 5 1/4"x 1 1/2" on the bottom half of the black cardstock using my ATG gun.  I covered up the "seem" of where the papers meet with a piece of orange polka dotted grosgrain ribbon and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.  I attached the whole thing to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I used the "Mini Monsters" cartridge with my Cricut Expression to cut the Ghost.  I cut the ghost a

It's Finally Over!!!

Well everyone, after being away from home for a month, two weeks of that sitting at airports, we are finally home!!!!!  We ended up having to fly into Spain and spend two days there before we got home, but we made it home last Tuesday.  I would have posted sooner, but with the jet lag and then getting sick after getting here, I was just too worn out.   I will be back to crafting soon, meaning this week, and posting regularly.  I'm still fighting a little of this bug and then the morning sickness, or as I call it, all day sickness is really kicking my butt. But I will be back at it this week!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

Another Bump in the Road!!

I hope you all have been having a GREAT time!!!! For those who read my earlier posts/ updates you know at the beginning of this month we started a journey to the states to visit family and it took us 7 days to get a flight out.  We spent 7 days sitting at an airport terminal, ugh right??  LOL.  Well on the 25th we started our journey home.  On Friday the 26th my husband and our oldest son got out on a plane.  Due to hurricane Irene all airports on the east coast were closing down, so my mom and brother drove down from NY and got my youngest and I out of the path of Irene.  On Tuesday evening my mom drove us back to Dover, DE to try for flights out.  Since then we have tried for flights in Dover, Andrews AFB in MD and McGuire AFB in NJ, and no luck.  We are now back in Dover and we are just going to stay here until we can get a flight out.  This really has been the worst trip ever, travel wise, the visits were GREAT!!!  I just can't wait to get home, see my family and get back to c

Hello Followers!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!! I hope you are all enjoying your summer days!!!  I know we are!!  We have finally got to see this bright ball of light in the sky, also know as the sun, we haven't seen it in Germany in a long time!!!  We have been at my mom's in NY since last Thursday and it's been great!!!  We had a BBQ on Sunday and I got to see some family that I haven't seen in YEARS!!!  It was a GREAT time and everyone had fun.  The kids all ran and played and the adults sat and visited, it was really nice!  Thursday morning we leave for Ohio to see my husband's family for a week.  It truly has been a great vacation so far!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

We Finally Made It!!!!

Ok loyal followers, guess what??!!!  After 7 days we finally made it back to the states.  We are in Bangor, Maine right now.  we drive out tomorrow morning to head to Dover, DE to pick up the rental car that we reserved when we thought that would be where we would land.  Then, from there, we will be driving to Upstate NY to spend time with my family and then over to Ohio to spend time with my in-laws. It has been a really rough trip so far and we are just looking forward to some nice relaxing time with our families!!! I hope you are all having fun with your crafting!!!!  I'm missing my crafting stuff sooo much right now!!!  Happy Crafting!!!!

Oh My Craziness!!!

This trip has been completely crazy!!!  We are still sitting in Germany waiting to get a flight out to the states.  We are heading into day 5 of waiting starting tomorrow morning!!  We are getting a lot closer to the top of the list though, so that's progress!!!  An extra bonus we were finally able to get a hotel room for the night!  We've been staying in the terminal or in our van at night, it has made for an even rougher trip.  But tonight we got to get a shower, sit and relax, watch some TV and sleep in a real bed.  We will be back up and at it tomorrow morning!!! Please keep your fingers crossed for us to get out of here tomorrow, I really want to see my Mom and the rest of the family!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

Yay!! Another Update!!

So I just wanted to update you all once again.  We are trying to fly out of Germany headed stateside tonight.  We are actually leaving our house in a couple hours to head to the airport.  We are flying what is called Space-A, for those of you who aren't military affiliated I'll explain it.  We will go to the airport and sign up, then once they know how many seats are available they will start calling people up and if you are called you get on the plane, if not you have to wait for the next plane.  I'm sure many of you may be thinking, Oh wow why would you want to do that???  Well once you are chosen for a flight you and your family fly for FREE!!!  I personally would rather wait for a flight then pay thousands of dollars for my family of 4 to fly stateside.  It's a little perk for the military.  So that's what we are headed out to try to do tonight.  Wish us luck and keep your fingers crossed for us please!!! So you will see probably very little or no posts from me

Tree-mendous Day!!

I made this card for my sister-in-law's birthday.  I hope I'm not jumping the gun by posting it, but I mailed it last week so she should have it by now. ALL paper is from The Paper Company's value packs unless otherwise stated. I started this card with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of light blue cardstock and folded it in half to form the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of orange cardstock at 5 1/4"x 4" and attached it to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I then cut a darker blue piece of cardstock at, I believe, 1" and a green piece of cardstock at 2 1/5".  I layered the darker blue over a little bit of the green and attached it using my ATG gun.  I took a piece of teal and white poke a dot ribbon and wrapped it around the two pieces of card stock and adhered it with Scotch tape on the back.  Then I used the "My Pink Stamper Cheater method" to add a little bow to the ribbon.  I attached the who

BFF Card

I made this card for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog's Challenge Me Monday #71 .  Wow, that's a mouth full, LOL.  This weeks challenge was to make a card for a friend.  Now, I have a friend in mind for this card, but if I say it on here it'll give it away before she can get it!! ALL cardstock is from The Paper Company's value packs. I started with a 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" piece of blue cardstock and folded it in half for the base of my card.  Then, for my first layer, I cut a piece of light green card stock at 5 1/4"x 4".  I layered a piece of lavender colored cardstock that was cut at 5 1/4"x 2 1/2" on the top half of the green cardstock using my ATG gun.  I covered up the "seem" of where the papers meet with a piece of light pink grosgrain ribbon and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.  I attached the whole thing to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I used the "Create a Critter" cartridge wi

Campfire Fox

I created this card for Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge .  You were suppose to use either the "Campin Critters" cartridge or the "Nifty Fifties" cartridge, but if you don't have those, as I currently don't, they said you can use a similar cartridge.  So I decided to use the "Create a Critter" cartridge. ALL paper for this card is from The Paper Company's value packs. I started with a piece of brown 5 1/2x 8 1/2" cardstock and I folded it in half for the base of my card.  Then I cut a piece of blue card stock at 5 1/4"x 4" for my first layer on my card.  I cut a piece of green cardstock at 5 1/4"x 2" and attached it to the lower 2" of the blue cardstock using my ATG gun.  I took a piece of grosgrain ribbon and laid it across where the two colors met and secured it on the back using regular Scotch tape.  Then I secured the whole thing to the base of the card using my ATG gun. I cut the fox

Frisky Melon!!

I made this card for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog's Challenge Me Monday Contest!!  Yay!!  I started with a piece of pink cardstock cut at 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" and folded it in half for the base of my card.  This was from one of The Paper Company's value packs.  Then I cut a piece of black cardstock, also from The Paper Company, at 5 1/4"x 4" and used it as my first layer.  I attached this using my ATG gun. For my second layer I cut a piece of paper from the Colorbok Pattern Pack at 5"x 3 3/4".  I then wrapped a piece of grosgrain ribbon around it and secured it in the back using regular tape.  Then I attached the whole thing using my ATG gun.   I cut the watermelon at 4" using the "Stretch Your Imagination" cartridge with my Cricut Expression.  I used a black, pink and green paper, all were from The Paper Company value packs.  I attached it to the card using 3D-Dots. Then to finish off this card I added a My Pink St

Hippo Birthday!

This is a birthday card that I made for one of my nieces.  I started with a 5.5"x 8.5" piece of cardstock, folded in half for the base of this card, the paper is from a value pack by The Paper Company. For the first layer of this card I used a piece of 5 1/4"x 4" cardstock, also from a value pack by The Paper Company.  I attached this layer using my ATG gun. Then I cut two strips of two different colored blues, also made by The Paper Company.  One strip is cut at 5 1/4"x 2.5" and the other is cut at 5 1/4"x 2" and I used a Fiskars corner punch on all 4 corners of each piece.  Then I layered the smaller strip onto the larger strip and attached it using my ATG gun.  I attached a piece of ribbon, making a bow using The Pink Stamper's cheater method. Here is a link to her video where she shows how to do that:   http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2008/04/how-to-tie-bow_08.html I attached the whole thing to the card using my ATG gun. I cu

Couple Quick Updates

In my posts I have been stating which value pack that my "The Paper Company" cardstock is coming from, I will no longer be doing that.  So many of the different packs have a similar color and I want to take them out of the packaging and group the similar colors together for storage.  So, from now on when I use this particular paper I will just state that it came from "The Paper Company's value packs" or simply "The Paper Company" .   I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience to anyone , but I need to get some better organization going for myself. My next update I stated in another post, we will be going on vacation next week back to the states to visit family and will be gone through most of August.  I may post updates as to what we are up to or any craft shopping I do but I, most likely, won't be posting any new projects.  If I do something with my sister-in-law then I may be able to post it but we will see.  So followers, please don't leave

Frog Birthday!

I made this card for my sister-in-law for her birthday.  I didn't actually forget her birthday, but I knew the card wouldn't get to her in time for her birthday.   I started with a piece of 5.5"x 8.5" piece of cardstock, from The Paper Company's Rainy Day value pack, folded in half for the base of my card.  Then I cut a piece of blue cardstock at 5 1/4"x 4", cut the corners with a Fiskars corner punch, and mounted it to the base as my first layer using my ATG gun.  The paper was also from the Rainy Day value pack. I cut a piece of orange cardstock, from The Paper Company's Jewel Tone value pack, at 5 1/4"x 2.5", wrapped a piece of "Happy Birthday" ribbon from Craft Essentials around it, secured it with regular tape on the back, and then adhered the whole thing to the card using my ATG gun. I cut the frog at 3.5" using my Cricut Expression and the "Create a Critter" cartridge. For the first layer I used

Snappy Birthday

This is a birthday card that I made for my mom, and it was also the first card that I made.  To start I took 5.5"x 8.5"(which is a 8.5"x11" piece of cardstock cut in half) piece of cardstock and folded it in half for the base of my card.  The paper is a light brown from The Paper Company's Natural Fashion Colors value pack.   Then I took a piece of light pink paper from The Paper Company's Earth's Garden Fashion Colors value pack and cut it to 5 1/4"x 4", cut the corners with a Fiskars corner punch, and used it as my first layer on my card.  I attached it using my ATG gun. Then I cut two pieces of different colored blues, one at 5 1/4"x 2.5" and the other at 5 1/4"x 2", and layered the smaller one on top of the other one (both were from The Paper Company's Rainy Day Fashion Colors value pack).  Then I wrapped a piece of blue ribbon around them and adhered it, using my ATG gun, to the pink paper. I poked a whole

Leaf Play!

Another cute layout!!  I started this one with a light green 12x12 Bazzill cardstock.  Then I used two different pieces of patterned paper, from The Paper Studio's All Seasons paper pack, to break up the background.   I used the "Stretch Your Imagination" cartridge and cut the tree and the 3 leaves.  The tree was cut at 4 inches and the leaves were cut at 3 inches.  I used The Paper Company's Fashion Colors value packs, Natural, Jewel Tone and Brights.  I used 3D Dots to attach them to the layout so that they would stand out. The "Autumn Leaves" and the "Raking The Leaves" signs were in a package of All Seasons chipboard pieces that I bought at Hobby Lobby. This was a really simple and fun layout to do.  The last 3 pictures just show some close ups of different parts of the page for a better view. Happy Crafting!!!!

Ice Cream Card

I am so proud of this card!!!  I had an overwhelming sense of accomplishment when I finished this project.  I made this card for Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge Me Monday Contest.  The challenge was to make a project incorporating ice cream, cold drinks or just any cool treat.  It took me a couple days to get it right but I finally got it finished up last night and so I wanted to share it with you all today!!! I started with a 5.5"x8.5" piece of card stock folded in half for the base of my card.  It was a piece of brown from The Paper Company's Natural Fashion Colors value pack.  Then I cut a piece of dark orange from the same pack at 5 1/4" x 4" and used it for my first layer on the card.  I attached it using my ATG gun. Then I used a piece of paper from DCWV Animal Crackers matstack and cut the bowl.  The bowl is from the Cricut cartridge "Create a Critter" and I cut it at 3" using the real dial size button.  Also from this cartridg

2nd Butterfly for Jessica

Ok, here is the second butterfly off of the "Create a Critter" cartridge.  Once again I laid out the 3 colors on the mat that I would be using.  (All the paper is from The Paper Company's Fashion Colors value packs.  I'm not sure exactly which ones because I used some scraps I had to make this.)  Then I cut all 3 layers at 3 inches.  Again, make sure you do not have your real dial size button on or you layers won't line up. The second picture shows all three cuts, sorry that they are a little hard to see!! The third picture shows them all glued together!!  I used mono-adhesive and a Zig 2-way glue pen to glued the pieces together.  This is not one of the main cuts that is on the cartridge, it is actually an accessory to one of the main "Critters".  This was was really simple and very cute as well.  Also if you wanted to dress it up some you could put a little rhinestone sticker for an eye or use some stickles to bling it up!! Butterfly For Jessica!!!

Jessica, here is one of the 2 butterflies on the "Create a Critter" cartridge.   I laid out four colors that I wanted to use on my mat, the first picture shows this.  Then I cut all 4 layers with my dial size set at 3 inches. (Make sure you don't have your real dial size button on or your layers won't fit.) The second picture shows all four cuts, I know the pink one in the right corner is kind of hard to see. The last picture is all four cuts glued together!!  I had to replace the pink with blue because I accidentally put the glue on the wrong side of one of the wings and the other was already glued on lol!!  Operator error!!  This butterfly, I thought, was very simple and is very cute!!!  Thank you for the opportunity to answer your question!!  I will post the second one in a little bit!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

Harvest Time!!

This, I thought, was a super cute layout!!!!  Once again, I know I'm out of season but I'm way behind on my scraping!!!  Ok so the base of this is a piece of 12x12 Bazzill cardstock, I have no idea what color I forgot to look when I bought it.   The 3 pieces of printed paper are from The Paper Studio All Seasons paper pack.   The embellishments are made by Jolee's Boutique and  I bought them at Joann Fabrics.   The ribbon with the scarecrow heads on it is made by Craft Essentials, again purchased at Joann Fabrics. The "Autumn" was made with the Cricut Expression using the "Stretch Your Imagination" cartridge.  It was cut at about 1.5 inches.  The 3 colors are all from The Paper Company's Fashion Colors value packs, Natural, Earth's Garden and Jewel Tone. And that's it!!!  I know it looks crazy busy but that's what I like about it and it was so much fun to make!!! Happy Crafting!!!!

Halloween 2010

Ok, yes I know it is July but I'm trying to get my scrapbooking caught up!!  I have a box full of pictures that I'm pecking away at slowly.  So for right now there will be layouts done that don't coincide with the time of year it is, but it will give you ideas for your pages this year lol!! Ok the base of this page is Bazzill cardstock and the color is Cheddar.  The two pieces of printed paper both came from The Paper Studio's All Season paper pack.  The piece of solid orange paper behind the "spooky" embellishment was from The Paper Company's Jewel Tone Fashion Colors value pack.  The Monster and the "Trick or Treat" sign were cut from the "Mini Monsters" cartridge, I don't remember the sizes there were cut at though.  Both were cut with paper from The Paper Company's Fashion Colors value packs, Jewel Tone, Rainy Day, and Bright were the packs used, I believe lol. And lastly the embellishments, "Spooky", &qu

Old McDonald's Farm

Ok, this first picture is from when I got stumped creating this page.  It looked good but the page just wasn't complete.  So I posted this picture on Facebook and asked my friends for some advice.  Many posted and I tried to work in as much as I could to get the finished product that you see below.  The base of this page was a simple light green from my Deja Views, The Sharon Ann Little Ones Collection.  Then I took a piece of blue 8.5"x11" paper from The Paper Company's Bright Fashion Colors value pack and cut it into 2-6x6 squares and put them side-by-side across the top to form the blue sky.   All of the animals were cut on the Cricut Expression from the "Create a Critter" cartridge, I absolutely love this cartridge!!!  They were all cut at, I believe, 3 inches.  I used many different colors and papers to make them, but all the paper came from The Paper Company's Fashion Colors value packs.  Brights, Black and White, Earth's Garde

Also so you know, I'm going to try to post at least one new project daily, with the exception of when we are on leave in the states!!!  Yay!!  We have one of those trips coming up next month, I'm so excited to see everyone!!!  If I have something I can post during that time I will

1st Day of 1st Grade

This was the first layout that I did with my Cricut Expression, and then I was hooked on it!!  The base is a piece of light blue cardstock from Deja Views, The Shannon Ann Little Ones collection.  The design printed paper is from The Paper Studio's All Season paper pack, it has some really great designs!!! The bus was cut at, I believe, 3 inches and it was from the "Stretch Your Imagination" cartridge.  It was cut from the yellow paper in The Paper Company's Bright Fashion Colors value pack.  The black steering wheel, the wheels, the strip on the bus and the number and letters (1st) were cut from The Paper Company's Black and White Fashion Colors value pack.  The letters and numbers were all cut from the "Designer's Calendar" cartridge.  The red letters were cut from The Paper Company's Jewel Tone Fashion Colors value pack. I made this die cut using my Cricut Expression with the "Cars" cartridge.  I used The Paper Company's Bright Fashion Colors for the blue shadow and eyes, the pink tongue and the orange signal light and "95" on the side and on the headlight.   Then I used The Paper Company's Jewel Tone Fashion Colors for the red body and wheels, and the yellow for the writing on the hood and the lightening bolt on the side.   Lastly I used The Paper Company's Black and White Fashion Colors for the black wheels and area on the hood and for the white windows, headlights, lightening bolt and the area above the back tire.  (This isn't in order of how I made it, I'm just grouping the colors by color packs.  Sorry for an confusion.) I love the way this turned out!!  I still haven't used it yet, it's sitting here on my desk.  I will probably work it into a scrapbook layout later on, we'll see!!  I did this right after I got my Cricut Express

Dragon Cricut Cut

This is just a dragon cut that my son David asked me to "make" for him.  It is from the "Designer's Calendar" Cricut cartridge.  I used a piece of 6x6 red cardstock.  It was from The Paper Company's Heritage Color Sheets.  I selected the dragon to cut and then I selected the "fit to page" button on my Cricut Expression to get the biggest cut possible with the size paper that I was using. *Note:  If you are making a cut using the "fit to page" button that has layers, make sure you note the size so you can set your size dial for the layers so they will fit properly. Happy Crafting!!!!

Baking Together Layout

Ok, I promise I will be more precise in the papers' brands and their sizes and embellishments' brands and names used later on.  Right now I'm just trying to get a bunch of my most recent stuff posted to share with you!!!  This is my "Baking Together Layout".  We spent some time with the family in upstate NY before our move to Germany and we got together at my brother and sister-in-law's house to bake cookies with Aunt Jamie, Makayla and Madison!!!   In this layout I just used a plain blue cardstock from my "Deja Views The Shannon Ann little ones Collection" as my base.  The 5 squares of decorative paper were from a lot of scrap paper that I bought off a lady here in Germany so I can't tell you where exactly they came from.  The cookie embellishments were from a Martha Stewart embellishment pack.  And the "Our Memories" chipboard sign came form an All Seasons pack that I bought at Hobby Lobby last year.  I don't remem
